You might think college is really expensive, but did you know that being a student can actually save you money? By frequenting places that offer student discounts, you can stretch your dollars even further. Check out our list below of places that offer discounts to currently enrolled students:

Apple—Apple offers students a back-to-school discount each year. This year they’re including a $100 Apple gift card with the purchase of a qualifying Mac computer. Visit their website for more information: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/campaigns/back_to_school.
Dell—Purchase select Dell computers over $699 and you’ll receive a $200 eGift Card to use towards an Xbox. Offer good until 9/26/2013. Visit their website at: www.dell.com.

AMC Movie Theatres—Students get discounted price on Thursdays.
Denver Museum of Art—Offers a student discount of $8 for general admission.
Boulder Museum of Art—Admission is $4 for students or free every Saturday until November 17.
Sam’s Club—Buy items in bulk and split the cost between friends or roommates. Sign up and get a $15 gift card to use there.
Ann Taylor (women’s clothing)—Students get 20% off full-priced clothing.
J. Crew (men’s and women’s clothing)—Students get 15% discount on regularly priced items.
Banana Republic (men’s and women’s clothing)—Students get 15% off of their purchase.

Receive a free drink from Chipotle with purchase.
Free drink with a Qdoba purchase.
Get 10% off your total Subway purchase.
Receive 10% off your total Burger King purchase.
10% off your total purchase.
Receive a free drink with each Chick-fil-A purchase.

Groupon & Living social—discount websites that offer special daily deals for food, dining, and entertainment. Visit groupon.com or livingsocial.com for to sign up for their daily deal emails.
Outlet Malls—These malls have stores that offer their merchandise are reduced prices.
- Outlets at Loveland in Loveland, CO; approximately 30 minutes northwest of Boulder.
- Colorado Mills Outlet Mall; located approximately 30 minutes south of Boulder.
Local library—The library has lots of useful resources for students. Borrow books, dvds, cds, and magazines for free. They also often have free events, like concerts or movies. Membership is free with a photo id and proof of Colorado address. The Boulder Public Library is located at 1001 Arapahoe Ave.
