Common College Student Money Mistakes
July 30, 2013
College doesn’t have to be ridiculously expensive! Avoid throwing your money away by watching out for these money potholes that are common among college students:
Not graduating in four years. Try to commit to a major, take the requisite classes, and complete all coursework within four years. By even going one extra semester, you could be costing yourself thousands of dollars.
Dropping a course after the refund date. It’s okay to drop a class, just make sure to pay attention to the university calendar and drop dates. Depending on when you drop the course, you may receive a full or partial refund.Share on Facebook
