Confirmation Deposit Refunds

If you’ve graduated, keep your bank account information updated so you get your confirmation deposit refund as quickly as possible.

  • December graduates: Confirmation deposit refunds, less any outstanding debt, will be directly deposited on or around the first week of February.
  • May graduates: Confirmation deposit refunds, less any outstanding debt, will be directly deposited on or around the first week of July.
  • August graduates: Confirmation deposit refunds, less any outstanding debt, will be directly deposited by the end of September.

If you withdraw or separate from CU (including participation in Stay Connected or Time Off) within established dates and guidelines, you will receive a confirmation deposit refund less any outstanding financial obligations.  You will be required to repay your confirmation deposit during your first term of enrollment.  Failure to do so will prevent you from registering for a future term.  The Bursar’s Office does not bill you for the confirmation deposit.  For instructions on how to pay your confirmation deposit, please see our How-To’s.

New, readmitted, and transfer students, who do not end up attending classes, forfeit the confirmation deposit and are not eligible for a deposit refund.
