Direct deposit refunds for currently enrolled students are processed weeknights and should be in your bank account within two to three business days, typically sooner depending on the bank. Verify that the refund is available in your account before spending the funds.
No refunds are processed on June 30 for year-end close.
Refunds resulting from credit card payments are returned weekly to the credit card company. The 2.75 percent service fee assessed by NelNet Business Solutions is nonrefundable.
First financial aid refunds of each term
Individual circumstances vary widely. If all necessary paperwork is complete and has been submitted on time, you can expect the first financial aid refund to be issued according to the table below. Not all financial aid recipients receive refunds. Determine whether you might get a refund by estimating the tuition bill and subtracting anticipated aid.

If you have a federal student loan, you have the right to cancel that loan within the award year by calling the Office of Financial Aid at 303-492-5091.
