These rate sheets provide a detailed breakdown of directly-billed costs including tuition, mandatory fees, other fees and on-campus room and board (housing/food) per semester. The tuition and fee rates below are based on last year's rates (2023–24). New undergraduate students coming to CU in Fall 2024 can expect an increase of 3–4% in tuition and 5% in on-campus housing and food costs for academic year 2024–25. Continuing students will pay tuition and fees according to their tuition guarantee group. Graduate students will see an increase of 3% in tuition. See more details in the CU Boulder Today article.
  • Tuition and fee rates are generally based on residency classification, guarantee group, college/school/program or area of study, type of degree and number of credit hours. Please note that undergraduate out-of-state and international tuition is a flat rate for 1–18 credit hours in fall and spring. This flat rate does not apply in the summer.
  • These rates apply to Boulder Main Campus only. Classes taken at Continuing Education or other CU campuses have separate tuition, fees and billing.
